the specifics of online purchasing are yet to be determined by the Gateway.
The
most likely procedure at the time of this writing looks like this:
- the
visitor will place an order via email to info[at]hudsonmohawkgateway[dot]org.
- the
Gateway will confirm the order via email listing the total payment due
(including applicable taxes, shipping and handling) and where to send
the check.
- the
person placing the order will then mail the check along with a print out
of the email confirmation.
- items will be delivered
upon receipt of payment.
Some day it is likely
that anyone a bank account will also possess an e-bank account
tied to their checking account, which will be debited for each online purchase
-- not unlike debit card purchases many of us make in supermarkets at the
present time.
